The Adam Smith Society is a nationwide, chapter-based association of MBA students and business professionals who work to promote debate and discussion about the moral, social, and economic benefits of capitalism. We aim to build an influential network of business leaders who care about big ideas and are dedicated to preserving and strengthening the free-market economic system. Since we launched the Society in 2011, it has grown to include chapters on the campuses of 20 elite business schools and now has more than 2,300 MBA student and alumni members in its network.

The Tepper Chapter of the Adam Smith Society seeks to help the Tepper Community develop a nuanced understanding of both the benefits and limitations of capitalism.  We engage with a wide variety of Tepper Faculty and Clubs to help members of our community understand the benefit of free-market thinking and capitalism in our society.
