Dr. Carol Anderson is the Charles Howard Candler Professor of African American Studies at Emory University and a New York Times Bestselling Author. Her research and teaching focus on public policy, particularly the ways that domestic and international policies intersect through the issues of race, justice and equality in the United States. Anderson's most recent book; White Rage: The Unspoken Truth of Our Racial Divide, received the National Book Critics Award in the criticism category and was described byThe New York Times Book Review as "an extraordinarily timely and urgent call to confront the legacy of structural racism ... and to show its continuing threat to the promise of American democracy."
