[B&T + MEC] Netflix and Disruption in the Entertainment Industry with Guest Speaker Prof Mike Smith

B&T and the Media & Entertainment Club are excited to host Professor Mike Smith from the Heinz college for a lunchtime session about how technology is changing the entertainment industry. We will discuss the impact of data analytics in the greenlighting process at Netflix and how it differs from more traditional networks.

Professor Smith leads the Initiative for Data Analytics in Entertainment (IDEA) in the Heinz college. This will also serve as a primer on his class which is offered at Heinz in Mini 3.
