[DA] Data Visualization + Tableau Workshop

Do you think you can improve your internship and post-MBA career experiences with the skills to visualize data and better communicate information to clients, teams and senior management? Would you like to learn new techniques to find stories in data or discover new ways to make memorable charts, graphs and maps using the visualization program Tableau?

Join us as we welcome Dr. Emma Slayton, a Data Curation and Visualization Specialist at CMU, who will show us how to create and use interactive dashboards in Tableau through hands-on training.

In this short workshop, you will learn not only how to harness visualization tools to tell meaningful stories, but how different types of graphs and charts are perceived by audiences and how they can be used to answer different questions. This workshop will also provide a background to creating successful graphs and charts in Tableau and will help expand on our previous Tableau tutorial.
