Venture Capital Guest Speaker - Wayne Kimmel of SeventySix Capital

"Wayne Kimmel is the Managing Partner of SeventySix Capital and author of Six Degrees of Wayne Kimmel. He is known as an entrepreneur, venture capitalist, author, philanthropist and tireless networker. Wayne founded SeventySix Capital, a leading venture capital firm near Philadelphia, in 1999. He speaks internationally about his passion of entrepreneurship, networking and giving back; recent talks include University of Pennsylvania, University of Maryland, Villanova University and University of Delaware.

Wayne connects with audiences as he shares the practical secrets to his success while providing intimate glimpses behind the scenes of his nail-biting, high-stakes business deals. SeventySix Capital was recently nominated as an Outstanding Investor in the sports technology space by SportTechie, alongside Blue Star Sports, Bryant Stibel, and a couple of others. Wayne also speaks to the evolving sports tech industry and entrepreneurship. He talks about his experience as an investor in Whistle Sports, a global sports media company, N3rd Street Gamers, an esports community, and firm partner, Ryan Howard, World Series Champion and investor. Additionally, Wayne talks about the idea of athletes as entrepreneurs through partner firm, Rubicon Talent, a sports marketing agency in NYC with clients including Cal Ripken, Jr., Kerri Walsh Jennings, DeMarco Murray and Greg Olsen.
