Details
Ms. Hargrave-Thomas began her career in healthcare leadership at University Women's Care, where she served as the director of clinical services for nine years. She then worked as CEO and administrator of Lakes Surgery Center in West Bloomfield, Mich., for four years. Under her leadership, the surgery center saw incredible growth despite a local struggling economy. Anne Hargrave-Thomas has served as the chief executive officer of OakLeaf Surgical Hospital in Eau Claire, Wis., since September 2011. OakLeaf Surgical Hospital is a Joint Commission-accredited and Medicare-certified private hospital comprised of 60 physicians across 15 specialties.
In addition to her clinical and leadership experience, Ms. Hargrave-Thomas was instrumental in the establishment of the Michigan Reproductive Nurses Association. In 1998, she partnered with a local pharmaceutical representative to organize the first MRNA dinner meeting. More than 10 years later, MRNA has grown and continues to provide nurses with education on reproductive endocrinology. Ms. Hargrave-Thomas also served as president of the Michigan Ambulatory Surgical Association.
Note: lunch will be provided for those who sign up by Wednesday, February 22.
