Join the TCC as we enjoy Derek Jackman's continued return from retirement. He will lead a workshop to explain the “why” of finance-y things. We all have taken finance/accounting classes and possess the tools to calculate a variety of metrics. I find that people have a much harder time understanding the relationships between things and when to use what.
This workshop is geared toward understanding the fundamentals and health of a business from a manager’s (or consultant’s!) perspective rather than the perspective of an investor/creditor. This will help you identify, prioritize, and solve your business’s/client’s problems to perform/impress at your summer internship.
